So here we sit, three plus weeks from the election. A second major poll has put Kerry ahead. Unka Karl Rove is telling Hannity that he's still got "a couple of surprises we intend to spring." The Yankees and the Red Sox are playing for the pennant.
Christopher Reeve has died.
The freaky-deakiest lefties are full of speculation over the lump under W's suit jacket, and his cognitive decay since his debate versus Ann Richards in '94 as being caused by "wet brain" or "dry drunk syndrome." Which confuses me, since the guy is currently doing and saying so many things that don't need wild speculation, conspiracy theories, or blind faith to prove.
Fall is in the air.
The new Elliott Smith album is about to come out, and from what I've heard, it's going to be a doozy.
