filed under: Idle ChatterToday is going to be a pretty much non-existent Procrastinet day, as I'm in the thick of planning the agenda for this weekend, when Dan and I are going to New Orleans for his bachelor party.
The Frommer's Guide to New Orleans is pages and pages long and will make you want to go to New Orleans. And eat. Have a snack nearby or you may look down to realize you're chewing on your keyboard.
I also recommend, if you're looking to kill some time online, that you cruise over to the Corcoran website. Punch in a search for property for sale in your favorite NYC neighborhood, with some outrageous price limit like $2m-$5m. Look for ones with virtual tours and enjoy a peep into how the other .01% lives.
Be careful though - I was doing that very thing three years ago and ended up buying our apartment from it... (yes, I lowered the price range A LOT first)
