John Edwards always had the best line of attack on George W. Bush during the primaries: Bush wants to shift the tax burden off of wealth and onto work. Why should a millionaire owe less tax on stock dividends than a nurse owes on overtime pay?

I don't know if it was all the Gephardt/Vilsack noise, but I was very tense this morning waiting for the Veep announcement. I didn't know how hard I was rooting for Edwards, or at least for someone non-awful, until I found myself dancing around in front of CNN.

Kerry/Edwards 04. Let's make this happen.
